Port Phillip Council has deliberately concealed their plan to cut down dozens of mature and significant trees on 6/6/25 - with no notification or consultation with residents

STOP THIS ATROCITY

Council says "As part of the project, a Tree Impact Assessment was conducted by qualified arborists to identify trees requiring removal due to health concerns, safety risks, and the need for emergency vehicle access" - this work was not done prior to approval of the project and has only been discovered now.

ALL OF THESE TREES (AND MORE) WILL GO

Suddenly, these fences popped up and ALL of these trees are now scheduled to be removed forever.

Aside from being a pivotal part of the streetscape, these trees help locals be "insulated" from the significant residential impacts of night lighting and sound that this reserve now generates as a direct result of the councils upgrade works.
