Stonnington Council
SAVE PARKING ON CHAPEL ST
PETITION BELOW

If you are a frequent user of Chapel Street OR run a business in the precinct, we need you to sign our petition to Stonnington Council below.
Stonnington Council is conducting a review into ALL Parking across the municipality.
You can read more here: https://connectstonnington.vic.gov.au/PAP
The concern is that Chapel Street will soon have TRAM super stops installed (Just like Bridge Rd Richmond and St Kilda).
Council has indicated it is considering a wide range of reforms including:
-
LESS car parking on Chapel Street
-
PAID parking on Chapel Street
Given that BANK Credit Card data shows around 70% of transactions in Chapel Street are completed by people who live OUTSIDE of the City of Stonnington, business relies on abundant, FREE car parking.
